Calle and Real Salt Lake Join Forces to Save the Great Salt Lake

Salt Lake City, Utah – 4.18.2023 – Calle and Real Salt Lake (RSL) have announced a new partnership aimed at raising awareness about the urgent need to save the Great Salt Lake. The two organizations have teamed up to launch a campaign that will encourage soccer fans and the broader community to take action to protect this natural wonder from drying up.

As part of the campaign, Calle and RSL will be selling special edition t-shirts featuring the message "Save the Great Salt Lake." Five dollars from each shirt sold will be donated to SaveOurGreatSaltLake.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the lake and its ecosystem.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with RSL to drive awareness about the importance of protecting the Great Salt Lake," said Nick Rimando, Partner at Calle. "As a soccer community based in the SLC area, we feel a responsibility to do our part in preserving this natural habitat for future generations. We hope that our campaign will inspire others to join us in taking action to save this precious resource."

The campaign has already garnered support from youth soccer clubs and other organizations in the Salt Lake City area. "As a club that is based in Salt Lake City area, we have a deep connection to the Great Salt Lake and the surrounding ecosystem," said Adolfo Ovalle, Director of La Roca Futbol Club. "We are proud to be a part of this campaign and look forward to doing our part to protect this natural wonder."
